Alt-country staples, Blitzen Trapper, put on a really fun show at Lincoln Hall on July 9th. It's been a few years since I've seen them, so I was happy to have the opportunity to photograph them and check out their newer songs. I was not disappointed - they're just one of those bands that write songs that make you smile, especially when played live. Opener Sarah Jaffe, who I'd previously not heard of, really impressed me.
