Stop whatever you're doing right now and go purchase a copy of "Too Bright," Perfume Genius' critically acclaimed 2014 album. Then listen to it and try to tell me that it's not one of the best records you've heard in a long time. It defies genre; it rips you up; it makes you laugh; it surprises you; it makes you dance. In short, it's sensational, which is why I was ecstatic to see Perfume Genius (a.k.a. Mike Hadreas) live at Lincoln Hall. I somehow knew it would be a phenomenal show.
