White Mystery and My Brightest Diamond at Millennium Park

A few weeks back I wandered to beautiful Millennium Park to photograph My Brightest Diamond and White Mystery for the Downtown Sound series. Unfortunately, My Brightest Diamond's set was cut short due to typical insane Chicago weather, but she'd already established her dynamic sound and stage presence. It was a total bummer to only hear a few of her songs, but luckily for Chicagoans she's coming back this fall! Chicago-based, brother-sister duo, White Mystery, kicked off the evening with a high energy, head-banging hell of a set. I just love those guys. And they no doubt have the best hair in the business. For more of my photos, head over to Do312.

I got to the show a little early so I enjoyed some quiet time wandering around Millennium Park.

Chicago pride! Kick-ass sibling duo, White Mystery, rocking my face off.

My Brightest Diamond made quite an entrance, bringing out a marching parade of hooligans for her first couple songs.

The wonderful Shara Worden a.k.a. My Brightest Diamond

And here comes the rain, followed by a swift evacuation of the entire park. Just another evening of bipolar Chicago weather.
