Travel Log 2012: Portland and Oregon City

One of my absolutely favorite states is Oregon, so it doesn't take much convincing to get me out there. In this case, it was surprising my friend, Alexis, for her 30th birthday. My friend Paige - who lives in Florida - and I devised a very last-minute plan to fly out to Portland for a quick weekend visit. It was an excellent New Years gift to myself...and I think Alexis was pretty happy to see our faces as well. But while I had an amazing time, I'm bummed to say that I didn't take as many photos as I'd liked because I was too busy partying with these fools:

Nonetheless, here are a few images from the trip and some cool camera photos from the air, like the one above (notice Mount Rainier on the left).

The Doug Fir Lounge, where Paige and I stayed for a night.

Occupy Portland??

  1. Across galaxies of time and space
Travelling just to see your face
    Lost amidst the countless stars
To bring me back to where you are. Flights to Bogota

  2. Yay, Oregon and I made the blog! Best surprise of my life. :)
