OCSA's Jazz for the Goose Benefit

Back in July I had the honor of photographing a benefit for an excellent organization, the Ovarian Cancer Symptom Awareness Organization (OCSA), at Andy's Jazz Club here in Chicago. OCSA, a 501(c)(3) was founded in January 2010 by Rick and Susan Roman and their friend, Vallie Szymanski, after Susan was diagnosed with Stage III Ovarian Cancer in August of 2009. One of OCSA's many missions is to generate awareness among women about the symptoms and risk factors associated with ovarian cancer in order to prevent late detection. If you are interested in attending one of OCSA's upcoming events, you can find out more information about them here. Below are a few of my photos from the Jazz for the Goose Benefit.

The Mike Frost Trio warmed up the audience at Andy's.

The incredible Yoko Noge & the Jazz Me Blues Band headlined the evening.
