In June my fiancé and I went on a little daycation to Detroit to see Fleetwood Mac at the Joe Louis Arena (and even a diehard Blackhawks fan like myself can appreciate The Joe) and tour Hitsville U.S.A. (better known as the Motown Museum). And while most people give me quizzical looks when I explain that I willingly "vacationed" in Detroit this summer, I have to say that I had a really amazing time.
