There are some bands that just define a time period for you. In my case, Yo La Tengo is my 2004. That's when I first discovered their already immense catalog of work (that has only continued to expand since). A decade later, they're still releasing critically-acclaimed albums at a consistent pace and somehow still manage to fly a bit under the radar. Nonetheless, YLT has a cult following and as one of their loyal devotees, I jumped on the opportunity to photograph them at Concord Music Hall for CIMMfest.
