Mac DeMarco played two sold out shows at The Empty Bottle a couple weeks ago and I was very happy to be there to shoot the first one. I've been a fan of Mac for a few years now and his recently released "Salad Days" is easily as good as (if not better than) his critically acclaimed 2012 album, "2." His ever-growing catalog seems to only improve with each release and he's only 23. Pitchfork's Marc Hogan described one of Mac's songs as "a laid-back guitar-pop daydream, as wobbly and welcoming as a backyard hammock," and I've since adopted that as a way of describing his sound in general. Ya dig? Juan Wauters opened the show with a very modern day Beatnik/poetry slam vibe. For more photos, head over to Do312.
People began filing in to catch Juan Wauters.

By the time Mac hit the stage, it was packed.
