Chicago Pride is easily one of my favorite weekends in the city. It's an indication that summer has finally arrived and the whole city is smiling; the energy is contagious. This year was no exception. The weekend was once again filled with great street festivals featuring local and national musicians and celebrities (The Back Lot Bash being my favorite because my former band, The Betty Fords, played it a few times), and it all culminates on Sunday when 850,000 people gather to be part of the largest parade in the city (and one of the largest in the country). Check out some of my photos from this year's parade. And remember: it's all about LOVE.
